Yes, Cody Regional will keep an ambulance in the bay at the HSH hospital.

Question 4: What will EMS time coverage be?

Services will be provided 24/7

Question 5: What if a major accident happens and there's only one ambulance?

Cody Regional supplies ambulances in the surrounding area and will be able to supply back-up ambulances in extreme cases.

Question 6: Where will the service area be?

The service areas will remain the same, which will be all of Hot Springs County.

Question 7: Will Cody Regional provide the EMS personnel?

Yes, Cody Regional will provide licensed EMS personnel.

Question 8: Will they be coming from Cody and will that cause delays in emergency services?

All EMS staff provided by Cody Regional will be housed in Thermopolis during their shifts and will stay in HSH provided housing.

Question 9: Can local EMTs apply to work for Cody Regional EMS service in Thermopolis?

Yes, any EMTs may apply to work for Cody Regional when positions are available.

Question 10: How will I be billed?

Cody Regional Health will conduct all billing for EMS services.

EMS services are charged based on standard pricing metrics. Cody Regional follows appropriate billing/collecting best practices.
