Scott Alwin, CEO
Scott, a native of western Kansas, earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999 from Des Moines University and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2006 from Regis University, Denver.
Scott has practiced as a physical therapist and rehab director primarily in small rural communities, beginning in eastern Colorado and then in western Nebraska. From clinical work and departmental supervision, Scott progressed to the role of practice administrator and then Chief Ancillary Officer at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance. Before relocating to Thermopolis, Scott served as the Director of Service Excellence and Patient Experience at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Scott came to Thermopolis in December 2021 as the Chief Clinical Officer for HSH and was selected to serve as the CEO in July 2022.
Scott is a certified patient experience professional, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and currently serves on the Thermopolis-Hot Springs Changer of Commerce Board of Directors.
Scott enjoys camping, gardening, and raising labrador retrievers.
Linda Veylupek, CHRO
Linda is a human resources professional with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare environment, more than 15 of which have been in HR. She is nationally certified as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SHRM-SCP) through the Society of Human Resources Management and has been the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hot Springs Health since 2019. Her areas of expertise include recruitment, employee relations, and HR ethics.
Her family, including her husband and dogs, her grown children and grandchildren, are the focus of her life. As a longtime Wyoming resident, Linda enjoys outdoor adventures such as kayaking, fishing hiking, hunting, and exploring.
Dan Hemann, CCO
Dan has been with Hot Springs Health since 2017. He graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy as a Doctor of Pharmacy. He served five years as the Director of Pharmacy at Hot Springs Health before joining the executive team as the Chief Clinical Officer in 2022. He currently has more than 10 years of experience in multiple facets of healthcare and continues to build on his diverse experiences by completing his MBA in Healthcare Management in 2023.
Dan and his family find their passions in the outdoors by way of hunting fishing and camping, He enjoys participating in recreational sports and occasionally daydreaming about his collegiate basketball days.
Nina Landis, CQCO
Nina is a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She has a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in executive leadership. Nina has been with Hot Springs Health since 2022 when she joined the team as the Director of Quality and Risk Management. As the CQCO, Nina oversees compliance, quality, and Irish for Hot Springs Health.
Watching her four children play sports with her husband, camping, hunting, crafting, and playing board games with the family keeps her busy in her spare time. She has lived in Wyoming most of her life and while she does not enjoy winter, she loves being outdoors as often as possible.
Natalya Keller, CFO
Natalya Keller is the Chief Financial Officer at Hot Springs Health. She has a Master of Science in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional. With a finance career spanning since 2011, she has extensive experience in financial statement preparation, analysis, audits, and tax returns, just to name a few. She joined Hot Springs Health as a Senior Accountant in September 2021 and was promoted to Controller six months later. Throughout the next three years, she supported several CFOs, two permanent and two interims, before being appointed CFO in August 2024.
Outside of work, Natalya enjoys fishing, camping, and hiking with her family. Scrabble is a favorite board game in their household.
