About the Foundation
The HSMH Foundation is a Wyoming 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of local business and community leaders. The Foundation was established on December 23, 1981 for the purpose of soliciting, accepting and otherwise obtaining, donations, gifts, memorials, and grants for the benefit of Hot Springs Health (HSH), and to thereby assist the Hospital in its endeavors to bring quality healthcare to community members in Hot Springs County, and of the surrounding area. The Foundation exists for no other purpose than to benefit Hot Springs Health, a 15-bed critical access hospital, located in Thermopolis, Wyoming.
Hot Springs Health is located within Hot Springs State Park, in Thermopolis, Wyoming. The Hospital was first formed in 1958, and currently operates as a Special District within Hot Springs County. “Partnering with our community for quality health and healing” is the mission of the Hospital. The Hospital serves primarily residents of Hot Springs County as well as residents from the surrounding counties of Big Horn, Fremont, Park and Washakie.
Thanks to the commitment of our donors and friends, HSH Foundation has a history of growth in both revenue and community support. Because of you, we help enable hope and healing at HSH. Now, as we embark on our five-year strategic plan, we remain committed to serving the needs of HSH and our community. We remain committed to you, our donors and to sharing the impact that we will – together – have strong healthcare in our community today, and in the future.
